Rhubarbarella, the fourth of five beers in Elysian’s 2018 Capitol Hill Series is ready for release and we’re celebrating with a live performance from native Seattle band, Spirit Award, benefitting Mary's Place!
Join us on the Hill on Friday, August 17th at 7:00 pm for a ceremonial tapping of Rhubarbarella, a toast from Capitol Hill Lead Brewer Hiawatha Rhyans, and a live performance from Spirit Award! If that isn’t enticing enough, this event has no cover, and 100% of proceeds from Rhubarbarella sold during the event will go to Mary's Place, a local organization dedicated to empowering homeless women, children, and families to reclaim their lives.
Rhubarbarella is the latest in Elysian's Capitol Hill Series, a special collection of new and old beers brewed and debuted at Elysian’s original location. A 5.8% ABV brett pale with rhubarb, this punchy and pleasantly bitter beer features pale, biscuit and wheat malts, as well as palisade hops. The beer was isothermally fermented and then warm-conditioned with 100% brettanomyces to a freshly aromatic rhubarb T.
